Before you start
- Your account is created and you are logged in to your admin area.
Welcome! This guide is your starting point. It walks you step by step, from the empty dashboard to your store live online, ready for its first orders. No technical skills required: about fifteen minutes in total, and each step links to a detailed guide.
What you'll learn
- Find your way around your dashboard.
- Follow the 6 key launch steps, in the right order.
- Put your store online for your customers.
Step 1 — Your dashboard, your command center
Everything starts here
As soon as you log in, you land on your Dashboard. It's your home base: it shows your store's status, your key metrics, and above all configuration shortcuts (marker ①) that take you straight to each launch step.
At the very bottom, the Publication panel (marker ②) lets you put your store online — or take it down — in one click.
Your 6-step roadmap
Follow these steps in order: each one prepares the next. Click a guide for the step-by-step detail.
- Set up your store details — name, logo, contact and description. The identity your customers will see.
- Create your categories — the aisles of your store. Do this before products, to file them properly.
- Add your products — photos, price, description. The heart of your catalog.
- Set up payments — so your customers can pay for their orders.
- Set up shipping — countries served, carriers and delivery fees.
- Choose your theme then customize it — your store's look, in your colors.
Once these steps are done, all that's left is to publish: see the final step below.
Expected result
At the end of this journey, your store is online and accessible to your customers: catalog filled, payment and shipping active, look on brand. You can share it and receive your first orders. On the dashboard, the Publication panel confirms "Your store is online".
Expert tips
- Work in order. Categories before products, products before going live: each step prepares the next.
- One step at a time. No need to do it all at once — your changes are saved automatically.
- Two essentials to sell. Without at least one product and one payment method, an order can't go through.
- Nail the first impression. A clean logo, great photos and a coherent theme reassure your customers.
Common mistakes
| Mistake | Why it's a problem | The fix |
|---|---|---|
| Adding products before categories | Your products end up poorly filed. | Create your categories first, then add products into them. |
| Forgetting to enable a payment | Your customers can't pay. | Enable at least one payment method before going live. |
| Publishing without a product | The store is empty, nothing to buy. | Add at least one product before publishing. |
| Neglecting the look | A generic store inspires less trust. | Choose a theme and customize its colors. |
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to create my store?
Around fifteen minutes for the full journey, not counting the time to add all your products. You can go at your own pace: nothing is lost between sessions.
Do I have to follow the steps in order?
It's recommended: some steps prepare the next ones (categories before products, a product and a payment before going live). But you're free to revisit any step at any time.
Is my store visible while I set it up?
You control going live from the Publication panel on the dashboard. Until you publish, you can prepare your store quietly.
What's the minimum needed to sell?
At least one product, one payment method and one shipping method active. The rest (theme, SEO, social links) improves your store but doesn't stop you from selling.
Can I edit my store after going live?
Yes, anytime. Add products, change your colors or prices: changes apply immediately, with no need to republish.
