1. The data we collect

In order to provide the SimWebShop services, we collect only the personal data necessary for the platform to operate. Depending on the services used, this data may include:

  • your postal address;
  • information about your company (registered name, ICE, IF, Trade Register, where required);
  • your connection information (IP address, browser, device, technical logs);
  • your language preferences and account settings;
  • your billing information;
  • data relating to your store (products, orders, customers, content, settings);
  • the information you provide when you contact our customer service.

We undertake to limit collection to the data strictly necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.

  • create and administer your SimWebShop account;
  • create, host and operate your online store;
  • process your subscriptions and billing;
  • ensure the proper functioning of the platform;
  • provide technical and commercial support;
  • improve our products and services;
  • personalise your user experience;
  • secure accounts and prevent fraud;
  • comply with our legal and regulatory obligations;
  • communicate with you about your account, your orders or significant changes to our services.

We do not use your data for purposes incompatible with those for which it was collected.

3. Sharing your data

SimWebShop does not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We may share certain information only where necessary:

  • with our technical providers (hosting, storage, messaging, payment, artificial intelligence, security, performance analysis);
  • with the competent authorities where the law requires it;

  • request its rectification where it is inaccurate;
  • request its deletion where legally possible;
  • request the restriction of certain processing;
  • object to certain processing where the law allows it;
  • withdraw your consent where it constitutes the legal basis for processing.

Requests are examined within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable legal obligations. They may be sent to the contact details given in article 10.

7. Hosting and subprocessors

Data is hosted on infrastructure operated directly by SimWebShop or by specialised providers meeting appropriate security requirements.

Where data is processed outside Morocco, SimWebShop ensures that the transfer is governed by appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable legislation.

8. Retention period

Personal data is kept for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, then deleted or anonymised. Periods are determined according to the following criteria:

  • account and store data: for the duration of the contractual relationship;
  • accounting and tax documents (invoices, proof of payment): for the period required by applicable legal obligations;
  • technical and security logs: for the period necessary for security, evidence and compliance purposes;
  • data relating to a dispute: until all remedies are exhausted.

On termination of the account, certain data may be kept for a limited period in order to comply with legal obligations, handle disputes and prevent fraud, in accordance with the Terms of Use.

9. Changes to this Policy

SimWebShop may update this Policy to reflect changes in its services, its security or applicable regulations.

Substantial changes will be brought to users' attention before they take effect by an appropriate means (in-platform notification, email or another suitable channel).

Continued use of the services after that date constitutes acceptance of the new version.

11. Entry into force
